2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data we process when you visit our website, create an account, or use the FertilityScience mobile app and related services (together, the “Services”). It does not apply to third-party services that have their own privacy policies.
3. Data we collect

Health data described above is “sensitive personal data”. We collect it only with your explicit consent and use it solely to deliver the Services.
4. How we use data
- Provide your personalized protocol, consultations, coaching, and progress tracking;
- Enable both partners to participate in a shared program (with each partner’s consent);
- Process payments and administer your subscription;
- Communicate appointment reminders, follow-ups, and service updates;
- Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Services;
- Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.
5. Legal basis & consent
We process your data based on your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), to perform our contract with you, to comply with law, and for our legitimate interests where permitted. For sensitive (health) data we rely on your explicit consent, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable rules.
6. How we share data
We share personal data only as needed:
- Practitioners: the registered doctors, specialists, and coaches delivering your program;
- Service providers (data processors): hosting, cloud storage, analytics, communications, and payment processing — bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms;
- Legal & safety: where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect rights and safety;
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or restructuring, subject to this policy.
7. Third-party services
We use third-party providers including, by category: cloud hosting and CDN, analytics and crash reporting, payment gateway, and messaging/notifications. Our website and content delivery run on Cloudflare, and payments are processed by Razorpay. We may also use analytics and notification providers to operate the Services. Each processes data under its own terms; we share only what is necessary.
8. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and medical-record obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you and the relevant authority of a personal-data breach as required by law.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may: access your data; correct or update it; request erasure; withdraw consent; obtain a summary of processing; nominate another person to exercise your rights; and grievance redressal. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timelines required by law.
11. Account & data deletion
You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time:
- In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account; or
- By request: email [email protected] from your registered email.
On deletion we remove or anonymize your personal data, except records we must retain by law (e.g., financial and certain medical records), which we keep only for the legally required period and then delete. This satisfies the account-deletion requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play.
12. Children
The Services are intended for adults aged 18 and over and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Processing of any minor’s data, where it occurs, follows the DPDP Act’s requirements including verifiable parental consent.
13. Health data
FertilityScience supports your fertility journey but is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and provides no diagnosis. Your health data is used only to deliver your program and is never used for advertising or shared for marketing. Where platform health frameworks are used (e.g., Apple Health / Google’s health data policies), we handle such data strictly in line with those platform rules and only with your consent.
14. International transfers
Your personal data is hosted and processed in India. Some providers, such as our content delivery network, may process limited technical data on global infrastructure; where any data is processed outside India we apply safeguards consistent with the DPDP Act and applicable transfer restrictions.
15. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies and limited analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Our mobile apps use device identifiers and SDKs for analytics and functionality as described above.
16. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and the “last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
